"Growing up, I always looked forward to my appointments at Dr. Scher's office. Perhaps I was a bit of an odd ball, because instead of being that little girl who feared braces, I was the one who jumped into the chair, opened my mouth wide, and told Dr. Scher: "I'm ready!" The reason for this, I believe, is that Dr. Scher had given so many of my friends amazing smiles, and I wanted to "join the club" so to speak.
